Description
Experience Level: Expert
Kind of writing: Brochure/Flyer
Topic: Swing tag for fashion brand
Tone: Witty/Sharp
Outline & Structure: We have a new brand which we are launching and we need the wording for our swing tags which tells new customers what we are all about.
The brand is ethical, focused on environmentally friendly fabrics and dyes and we want to tell our customers without putting them off with assumptions that the brand is expensive etc
In summary, I would like someone to sumarise the brand and what we are about which will be used on all swing tags.
The swing tags will be in two parts, one part simple with the logo on (have attached) and the other with prices and items description with also a tag line (ideally we'd come up with this when writing the swing tag content)
Extra notes: A little about the brand and the branding style.
Reason + Root is all about ethos. Not just about the what, but the why as well. In our brand strategy we talked a lot about the shared values we want to express to our client. A sense of community is what we have aimed to communicate all the way through the new brand visuals.
The brand will reflect the ethos of the new company - eco friendly, sustainable pieces that can be worn again and again. It should communicate to the customer the quality of the clothing, and encourage them to buy into the brand feeling. The brand should elevate the image of the company and help it get noticed in the early stages.
MISSION STATEMENT
To create sustainably sourced, quality clothing using organic or recycled materials that is stylish and appeals to our ideal client. We want our clients to feel passionately about not just the clothing, but the ethos behind it and come back again and again.
The range will be made up of quality, easy to wear pieces that will be loved by their owners and worn to death! The pieces will be produced locally, and will use eco dyes.
We want to not only sell clothes, but tell a real story about where they come from and what they’re made of.
TARGET MARKET
Our target client is male or female in their late 20s to mid 40s. They are affluent, with a disposable income to spend on quality items that last. They are looking for a brand that speaks to their ethics, as well as their sense of style. They want classic pieces that still feel fashionable, but that they can love for a long time to come.
They want something a little different, but without buying into trends. They care about design, both from an ethical and visual standpoint. They care where their clothes are made, who made them, and what they’re made of.
They are thoughtful and compassionate, and want to see the same values in the brands they love.

Hi Amanda, how many different tags are you looking for, and roughly how many words will go on each?
Many thanks,
Polly.
