Outline & Structure: We are looking for a freelance copywriter for an ongoing co-operation.
Our UK-based company runs a number of job boards within the cruise, superyacht and marine sectors (All Cruise Jobs, yaCrew, Sea Career). We also hold regular recruitment events – job fairs.
Your tasks would include mainly writing of texts for:
- our websites;
- marketing material (printed brochures, leaflets, etc.);
- press releases;
- email newsletters;
Occasional proofreading / editing will be required as well.
Requirements:
- You must be a master of the English language, including grammar, spelling, syntax, style, etc;
- Excellent copy writing skills, both formal (B2B) and informal (B2C);
- Attention to detail;
- Ideally some direct experience in recruitment/HR, possibly previous cruise ship or superyacht work experience;
- Interested in topics related to the recruitment within the cruise, superyacht and maritime sectors;
- Physically located in Europe;
- You must be available to write brief texts (anything between a few sentences to a page) on short notice, e.g. within 24 hours.
- Ideally you are available on emails/Skype throughout the day for urgent small requirements (charged on agreed hourly rate).
We can offer you free desk space in our office if you are close to Bristol (BS32).
If you are selected, we would like to set a price list for several main types of writing pieces with you. We envisage to have 3 to 10 copy writing or proofreading tasks for you per month. We'd pay you monthly for all texts supplied by you during the month. However, we are flexible and these conditions can be amended so that both parties are satisfied.
As a start, this posting is for a press release announcing 3 job fairs we are going to hold in 2016. The press release will be published on our website and emailed to our clients and some media. More information will be supplied to the selected copywriter.
