Hi. I am a will writer and licensed legal estate planning practioner.I visit my clients in their homes to plan and implement their estate planning strategy so that the wealth that they have built up during their life times can be distributed to their loved one's.
The brief is to produce a persuasive covering letter to send with the attached brochure. The brochure is A5 4 page brochure on 150 art paper in a booklet form. It has eight pages in total. I will also be enclosing a postcard which is also attached. The persuasion required in the letter is to call to action the prospects to contact me to arrange an initial meeting in their home which is FREE to discuss how I can help them.
I have bought a list of prospects in the 50+ age group who have, in a survey showed some interest in writing a will. I would want to mail merge the prospects on to my business letter head.
The key benefits of my service and what I am trying to get across in this promotion are:
by putting a will and possibly trusts within the will, that hard earned wealth will be distributed to the intended persons rather than on a mathematical basis decided by the law.
that the prospects are not put into the unfortunate position that they have to use their main asset, ie their house,to pay for the cost of residential care, thus ensuring that the this is available for the children eventually.
have they considered what would happen to their children's inheritance if they were to die and their a partner remarries and then predeceases the new partner. Ie children can get disinherited this way.
Are the family going to be paying thousands of pounds of inheritance tax when they don't have to.
I am open to suggestions on how long the letter needs to be.
Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
