Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Our online startup focuses on crafting engaging user experiences on the subject of autism by repurposing existing articles from publications and authority websites on the subject.
We are seeking a Content Producer with a sensibility for user-experience design (UX) who can deconstruct an existing article and then repurpose it using elements of good UX design.
The key to this process is breaking up an article into components -or structures of information- and then planning how those structures could be best represented on a page.
For example, you might decide that an article full of dates that explains a discovery could be reconstructed as a kind of timeline detailing the different milestones that led to the discovery. Or an article with many quotes could be repurposed as a collection of boxes of quotes. Or sometimes you might decide that there's not much you can do with an article except rewrite it in few paragraphs.
NO CSS, HTML, JAVASCRIPT OF DESIGN SKILLS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS JOB.
Your job is one of a writer who can visualize creative ways to structure information.
All you need is a pen and paper.
See our training manual for some examples: http://training.autism2autism.com/
Before you repurpose a given article, the Editor will help you visualize and brainstorm ways to approach it.
On average, it should take between 45 minutes to 90 minutes to repurpose a single article with the kind of creativity we need.
You will have a lot of creative agency in this position.
We will pay you for individual articles, so please make that your bid. We hope to establish a long-term relationship with the contractor we choose.
Thank you very much!
Jeiner
PS: Depending on our budget, we might be needing you just a couple of hours every week, and we will be giving you more opportunities as we grow!
