Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
When you read 'online start-up' what do you see?
When you read 'internet start-up' is it the same?
What about 'tech start-up' what do you see?
I'm looking for a very specific type of person to write for our blog. This person is not a noob or tech geek, but an observer, possibly with a journalistic background, but involved in the UK 'tech' start-up scene.
What I need you to think is Google Campus, TechCity, Venture capitalists, Angel investors, Huddle.com, MindCandy.com, Crunch.co.uk, business models, start-up hiring, developers, usability testing etc - the founders, the investors and the challenges these start-ups and the community. I'm not looking for an someone that can write SEO content or know's 'alittle bit about alot of topic' I need writers/journalists/founders (or ex-founders) who follows these start-ups and the tech start-up community on a daily basis and is immersed in the happenings of the community..
More specifically,
I'm looking for this writer(s) to target popular start-up topics and write 1000 - 2000 word blog posts (2 times per week). The challenge for me is finding a writer that has this knowledge and LOVES to write about it it frequently. Can you deliver 'been-there/done-that' advice? Are you up-to-speed with happening on in the news? Are busy with projects, but still keep your finger pulse of the tech community in TechCity and beyond..because you enjoy it?
To repeat, you must be an constant observer and have an active affiliation with the UK 'internet' tech start-up community, it's players (founders with successful exits and investors) so you can draw appropriate quotes, and develop innovative points of view around tricky start-up topcis. You will need to been involved in the community or, at least, hold a deep understanding of the feasibility, capital-raising, start-up hiring, sourcing co-founders, business model creation, attracting first-users, legal, funding sources sides of what these founders go through, if you've had a successful exit then even better.
Thank you!
