Maybe not first on the list for disabled people who understandably fear a muddy field. Camping and caravanning have changed dramatically over the years and in certain quarters are actually viewed as somewhat chic with the advent of Glamping.
Challenges of access and facilities can be solved by taking the right equipment to the right place.
Note for writer: Whilst not all disabled people are wheelchair users, I want to include some information on overcoming some of the physical barriers as well as issues such as keeping clean (medicines via syringes, infection prevention measures might be important.) Look into some of the companies manufacturing accessible caravans etc as well as some of the better camping/glamping grounds with accessible facilities.
