Information for the blog/website: none
Industry: Healthcare
Topic: caregiving, elderly
Tone: Informal/Casual
Outline & Structure: Hello
I'm looking for a skilled writer to write an article (at least 800 words) on the topic of family caregiving in Indian families. The writer should be of Indian background and thoroughly research the topic. The article itself will not have citations, but I would like to see the links or names of resources used to write the content, as part of this job. The tone should be both informative, but also resonate with family members who are caring for aging relatives. It should not be too serious, and have a positive, even humorous tone instead. There should be at least 5 facts (documented with research) about caregiving in Indian (and/or Indian-American families). The article should cover the following:

-The traditions of caring for aging relatives in Indian and Indian-American; for example, the expectation is often that the son will take on the care of aging relatives.
-Indian views about putting elderly in nursing homes or assisted living facilities
-Conflict among family members and spouses regarding the care of aging relatives
-Discuss how these traditions may be changing, as Indian families become more acculturated to American / Western culture.
-Discuss cultural views about aging - ageism, respect for elders, etc.
-Discuss the stress that families feel when it comes to caring for elderly relatives.
-Try to provide concrete examples and scenarios.

Thank you,
