Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Num. of articles: 2
Words per article: 1000
Information for the blog/website: Business consultancy
Industry: Business
Topic: PR, communications, leadership, management, growth...
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: We are working with a business consultant who advises some of the world's best PR firms, to implement a digital marketing strategy. As part of that we need a writer with a specialist knowledge of the business arena to help produce content for his blog and Twitter account.
To start with we will be looking for two blogs per month (up to 1000wds) and copy for one tweet per day which must be scheduled (a 15minute task we can train you on if needs be).
Titles for first three month's blog posts include:
- Don't Mistake Company Perks for Company Culture
- The Risky But Rewarding Challenge of Letting Employees Fail
- Ten Reasons to Say NO to a Client
- Unlock Your Inner Leader by Listening to Your Team
- Five Reasons to Have a Mentor Outside Your Team
Please only apply if you know the business industry well, and the above topics make sense to you - we are not looking for generic writers on this occasion as it is very niche, and accuracy is crucial. Research will be required as the client often attends big events which we will want you to write on or write up as required. Fully understanding these events and the stakeholders/audience is essential. An example of such an event is the upcoming European Excellence Awards.
We will provide titles for blog posts, but will require at least one revision as requested by the client to ensure it matches his tone of voice. For this we can pay £75 (£25.50 per blog post and approx 80p per tweet)
We have a very detailed strategy, which will give you great insight into topics, keywords, hashtags and competitors/peers for you to build your content around, so it should be a straight-forward job for someone who has their ear to the ground in the industry. Ideally we want someone who can work with us long-term, as we feel that there will be a certain amount of familiarisation in the first few months for any writer we take on. Thereafter the job should be straight-froward, once tone and style are mastered, along with useful content sources etc.
This is a great opportunity for the right person as we expect to bring many more business clients on board over the next few months, so this could provide a great source of profitable work.
Please highlight relevant experience and work.
Native English speakers only.
Extensive research needed: yes
