Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I'm looking for a long term relationship with an intelligent, UK native, copywriter for two upcoming projects.
First, the company (an IT Consultancy) is about to launch a "News" page on its website consisting of weekly articles on up to date IT/Communications/Technology related news and industry developments.
Content needs to be engaging and unique - I’m happy to provide you with a topic and some related links for inspiration, but you will need to do some basic research (and sometimes suggest topics) yourself. Bear in mind that the content is aimed at “normal people” as opposed to IT professionals.
Since the blog is being run by the company, it is important not to lose sight of the "call to action" - some of the articles ought to be slightly biased to the company's services, but others will be purely informational.
A blogger with a background in SEO is preferred, for obvious reasons.
The "Fixed Price" I'm looking for is on a per-article basis. Articles will typically be 400-600 words (that doesn't mean you can push them all out at 400!)
Second, in addition to the on-site news page, we have recently been asked to guest blog monthly on a large telecoms company's website. This is a great opportunity for us, and their posts are usually longer and more discursive "top tips" articles. These posts should always try to subtly push the user to our website and, ultimately, call us. They have stipulated a minimum length of 300 words, but I think that would be a waste of the spotlight (on that note, if you've read this far, please include the word count of this job listing at the top of your proposal). Please mention any thoughts you have on this and a price, if different, for these articles.
I look forward to reading your proposal.
