Description
Experience Level: Expert
edit: it needn't be 600 words long enough to include the required info short enough not to bore the masses!
Num. of articles: 1
Words per article: ~600
Information for the blog/website: Rainwater Harvesting Website
Industry: Environment
Topic: Cumbria Flooding
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: Hi,
I'd like an article writing on the Cumbria floods.
I would like the article to include but not limited to:
Meteorological effects leading to the floods
Historical context
contributing factors (upland catchment management)
Design standard for flood defences at Carlise
Absolute Magnitude of rainfall
Comparison UK and international
Changes in frequency
Climate change impacts
Summary
Images
I'm not expecting a thesis just a well researched article which dispels common myths like the flood defenced failed...
The infomration already exists just requires weaving together. No analysis is required - if you think some number crunching is required this can be done in house.
I need to be satisfied that this can be published on the blog. The existing blog has some strong technical information written in professional and occaisionally witty style...
Thanks,
J
