Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Num. of articles: 1
Words per article: 350 - 550
Blog/website url: http://www.gp-hub.com
Information for the blog/website: Motorsport website covering Formula One and its junior series with driver profiles, stats and information
Industry: Sports and Fitness
Topic: Formula One
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: Needs to be written from a fan providing insight or analysis into the sport and to follow the usual standard for articles... make a point, expand on it, a few quotes / backup, leave open for discussion.
As you probably expect the writing should original and be professional with no swearing and completely grammar / spelling checked.
Article Ideas:
There isn't a fixed title for the article. The best articles are non-time dependent for example...
- a look at a driver away from the car, i.e. personal life, training etc
- analysing the improvements to safety standards in F1 over the past 20 years
- looking ahead to the 2015 season for a specific team
- Insight into why one team had a good / bad season
- Looking back to past seasons
- Technological insight into a certain section of the car (not too techy though)
- a look to the next generation of drivers coming through the junior series and how they expect to make it into F1
- Insight into any upcoming race circuits on the 2015 calendar (Mexico, Azerbaijan)
Examples:
As an example of the style of article I'm after see the list below, however please note I'm aware some of these are way too long (ideally these would be condensed to about half the length ):
- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2237879-why-formula-one-has-to
- http://www.gp-hub.com/2014/08/is-hamilton-missing-the-point/
- http://www.gp-hub.com/2014/05/f1-spotters-guide-ladies-in-line-for-the-top/
- http://www.gp-hub.com/2014/05/delivery-of-10-world-class-electric-race-cars/
- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2236811-does-a-formula-1-race-on-the-las-vegas-strip-make-sense
- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2233744-will-jenson-button-ever-become-formula-1-world-champion-again
- http://www.gp-hub.com/2014/08/formula-e-a-closer-look-at-fan-boost/
- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2233708-realistic-expectations-for-sebastian-vettels-first-season-with-ferrari
Extra notes: This job post is for a single article, however I intend to accept more than one proposal and am looking for roughly 10 articles in total to be used in an ad campaign over the next month in a run up to the final race of the season.
Please submit a proposal along with any article titles you'd like to do.
