QUR'AN & 6 ARABIC LANGUAGE BOOKS PROOFREADER & CREATIVE SUPPORTING MATERIALS MAKER

We are seeking a highly competent and detail oriented Qur'an and Arabic Language Fusha (Qur’anic Arabic) Books Proofreader with experience in Islamic education to assist in the development, review, and enhancement of educational resources for non Arabic speaking children.

TASK OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will be responsible for proofreading and quality assuring Arabic Language and Qur'anic content, as well as creating creative engaging educational games content, worksheets, activities, and supplementary learning materials to support students studying Qur'an, Arabic Language, and Islamic Studies.

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES
-Proofread and verify Arabic text for spelling, grammar, Harakat (vowel markings), formatting, and accuracy of 6 initial books.
-Proofread Qur'anic verses to ensure complete accuracy and compliance with the Mushaf.
-Review transliterations and English translations for consistency and correctness.
-Create and provide educational games materials and interactive learning activities suitable for children and teenagers from the books provided for proof reading.

DEVELOP SUPPLEMENTARY LEARNING RESOURCES INCLUDING:
-Worksheets
-Activity books
-Revision packs
-Flashcards
-Homework exercises
-Assessments and quizzes
-Classroom resources
-Hifdh and Tajweed support materials

Ensure all materials are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with educational objectives.

Work closely with our curriculum and management teams to improve existing resources and develop new content.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
-Excellent command of Arabic and English language (reading and writing).
-Strong knowledge of Qur'an, Tajweed, Fusha Arabic Labguage and Islamic Studies.
-Previous experience proofreading Arabic or Islamic educational content.
-Ability to identify and correct grammatical, linguistic, and formatting errors.
-Experience creating educational materials for schools, madrasahs, or learning institutions.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-Degree or qualification in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
-Experience teaching Qur'an, Arabic, or Islamic Studies.
-Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe, PowerPoint, etc.).
-Experience creating digital learning games and interactive educational content.
