URGENTLY REQUIRED - English to English Transcribers

We are looking to recruit native English speaking transcribers to transcribe various audio files which are recordings of medical interviews.

We have an immediate requirement for a 54-minute file to be transcribed asap today, this is extremely urgent.

We also have 11 files available according to the below schedule, averaging 60 minutes per file. Further files are to be expected over the coming weeks.
Transcripts must be delivered in Word format.

We currently have 11 interviews confirmed and scheduled:
- February 8: 4 interviews
- February 9: 1 interview
- February 10: 4 interviews
- February 15: 1 interview
- February 17: 1 interview

We view typists as highly skilled professionals who rely on their skills and experience to perform work of the highest quality.

What we require from our applicants:

You need to take pride in the work you submit. we aim to exceed expectations for all clients, so we look for typists who are eager to help us with this.

You need to be able to communicate via email and Skype. We expect you to be an open and responsive communicator who is quick to alert us to any issues, particularly in relation to client deadlines.

You need to be a native English speaker and have great command of English spelling, grammar and punctuation. You need to understand how different word choices can change the context and meaning conveyed by the speaker.

You need to have excellent time management skills. You alone are responsible for the quality and productivity.

You need to be able to transcribe files that may be poor audio quality or have difficult accents. You also need to be aware of what you hear and ensure that it is within the context of what is being discussed.

Medical transcription - We prefer typists to have a minimum of 12 months of experience across a number of medical specialties. Please note that you also need to be capable of undertaking general transcription work.
