Transcriptionists needed for 2-hour 1-1 interviews

You are bidding on one 120-minute digital audio file with good audio, with 2 speakers. Deadline is 24 hours after receipt of the file. There are a number of these available, so if first is done well, more will follow if you wish. Work is available now.

Successful applicants will need to have experience in digital audio transcription, can type a minimum of 65 wpm, have their own high-speed internet connection, and their own transcription software and foot pedal. The successful candidate/s must be able to pay close attention to detail, and communication is a must (e.g. confirm successful download of digital file, ask for clarification if required), and be able to meet the deadline. If the work standard is good, further work may follow.

Successful applicants will be given a link to download the digital file. You will be required to send across the first 5 minutes of transcription so that quality and accuracy can be checked before proceeding.

Pay is £0.45 per audio minute, with a £0.10/audio minute bonus if work is done well and on time.

Candidates must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement, and submit the completed file on the provided MS Word template within 24 hours of receiving link to audio.

Please also note that deposit amount must be less than the total amount payable for the job (e.g. less than £20).
