Transcriptionist needed for digital audio file

I run a freelance transcription business and have a number of digitally recorded interviews to type.

You are bidding on one roughly 60 minute .mp4 file, a group interview with regional UK accents (Edinburgh and Manchester). Deadline is within 24 hours of receipt of file, no later than Sunday 1 April at 4pm GMT.

Successful applicants will need to have experience in digital audio transcription, can type a minimum of 65 wpm, have their own high speed internet connection, and their own transcription software and foot pedal. The successful candidate/s must be able to pay close attention to detail, and communication is a must (e.g. confirm successful download of digital file, ask for clarification if required). If the work standard is good, further work may follow.

Please note that successful applicants will be given a link to download the original mp4 video file, as well as a converted mp3 audio file if needed. Speaker ID is required for this project.

Pay is £0.45 per audio minute.

Candidates must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement, and submit the completed file on a MS Word template within 24 hours of receiving file link. Link to digital file, transcription guidelines & template will be provided.

Please note that deposit amount must be less than the total amount payable for the job (e.g. less than £20).
