Intelligent Verbatim Transcriptions

We will be having audio files (MP3) coming through to us from our client from between the 10th April to the 23rd May 2012.

We don't know when we will receive the files, how long they will be or how many files we will receive in total. However we will require someone who is free on most days to be able to be sent files.

Our client requires less than a 24 hour turn around so the transcription will need to be completed at quite a fast pace. Someone with quick typing and good computer skills will be good.

Within the files there will be a variety of languages. to be more specific we require 5 different language candidates. These languages are as follows:

French,
Spanish,
Chinese (Mandarin)
Russian
Arabic

You must be fluent in speaking, listening and writing in one of the languages.

Within the files, we will be given names of all the people who are speaking and the times they are speaking. You would then need to go to your correct person (The person that is speaking your chosen and specific language) The time codes will be written down for you, so you would need to go to that time in the video and then listen to what they are saying. We will then have a document with the persons name and the time code and you simply write what the person is saying, in that language in the right section of the document.

It will be a transcription from your language, into that language, so Spanish into Spanish for example.

We are willing to pay on the audio time ONLY. There fore if we give you a file that is 20 minutes long, we will pay you for however many minutes of time a person is speaking your language in the file. (The payment will be based on the audio length and not how long it is taken to complete)
