Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I have a 37-minute video interview that needs professional subtitling in English (US). I want the dialogue captured faithfully while trimming out the usual “um”, “uh” and obvious false starts so the on-screen text reads smoothly without changing the speaker’s intent.
Please return a properly time-coded SRT file that I can import into Premiere. All lines should sync accurately, be around 36 characters limit per line, two lines, and follow US spelling and grammar.
A few points to note:
- There are 2 people in the interview.
- The host's name is spelt Isabelle Gonthier and the guest is Paul Muir.
- You don't need to separate the speakers or label them in the SRT file.
- When removing umms etc, make sure the timecodes aren't affected, as I only want to remove those from the subtitles, not the video itself.
- The video file is around 400MB. I'll provide you with a link to download.
- Here is a link to a previous episode for reference... https://youtu.be/sEQG7xZg-6E
If English is your native language and you’ve created captions on Premiere Pro, Aegisub, Subtitle Edit, or similar and can turn this around promptly, let’s get started—just send back the finished SRT and I’ll handle the rest. Please let me know when I can expect the file.
Any questions, please ask. Thank you!
