English to English Audio File Transcription - 70 minute file available

We are looking to recruit a native English speaking transcriber to transcribe an audio file which is a recording of a medical interview.

The transcripts must be delivered in Word format within 24 hours and a template will be provided. The interview is 70 minutes long.

We view typists as highly skilled professionals who rely on their skills and experience to perform work of the highest quality.

What we require from our applicants:
You need to take pride in the work you submit. we aim to exceed expectations for all clients, so we look for typists who are eager to help us with this.
You need to be able to communicate clearly. We expect you to be an open and responsive communicator who is quick to alert us to any issues, particularly in relation to client deadlines.

You need to be a native English speaker and have great command of English spelling, grammar and punctuation. You need to understand how different word choices can change the context and meaning conveyed by the speaker.

You need to have excellent time management skills. You alone are responsible for the quality and productivity.

You need to be able to transcribe files that may be poor audio quality or have difficult accents. You also need to be aware of what you hear and ensure that it is within the context of what is being discussed.

Medical transcription - We prefer typists to have a minimum of 12 months of experience across a number of medical specialties. Please note that you also need to be capable of undertaking general transcription work.

The budget is 55p per minute of audio.
