Create Video subtitles

We need video subtitles created for an educational documentary series focusing on ancient cultures around the world. The series contains 8 videos ranging from 10-15 minutes in length. The videos have been professionally produced with high quality audio but currently have no subtitles.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating subtitles for both educational and entertainment media. The subtitles should provide an accurate transcription of the dialogue along with any necessary description of non-verbal events and sounds on screen. Proper grammar, spelling and punctuation are essential. As this is an educational series, subtitles also need to be easily readable while maintaining an engaging flow.

The file format for the subtitles needs to be .SRT to ensure compatibility across platforms. Along with the completed subtitles, the freelancer should also provide a sample transcript to verify the quality and style before full work begins. The goal is to have the series fully subtitled within 4 weeks to stay on schedule for publication. Mobile or online solutions may need to be employed to seamlessly work with large video files.

Familiarity with ancient cultures and languages would be beneficial but is not required as long as an excellent standard of transcription is met.
