Audio transcription

We are looking for a number of home-based audio transcribers for on-going work. Typists must be native English speakers, type at least 70 WPM, be familiar with British and foreign accents, and have excellent spelling/ grammar skills and attention to detail. You must also have at least 6 months' transcription experience and the necessary transcription software/hardware.

In your proposal, please outline your transcription experience and any other relevant work experience, as well as your educational background. Most of our transcription work is for academic research, so we attempt to link transcribers with relevant expertise to each project.

At the moment, we have a range of files to be transcribed, from 20 minutes to 2 hours in length. Our rate of pay starts at £0.50 per minute of audio, but if we are happy with your work there may be the opportunity for further work at a higher rate.
