Im the search for a new job in Austria. I need to rewrite my CV (ATS optimized) and LinkedIn profile; I’ve use the same style for many years only updating the jobs.
ABOUT MY JOB SEARCH:
I am interested in jobs in both of my expertise areas. My CV shows information about them and I believe is one of the reasons I am not being considered. Should I have different CV’s depending on the job to apply?.
ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE:
I have over 13 years experience in different sectors and areas.
Part of my experience is in Procurement (Purchasing) mostly for Marketing & Sales projects, but also some projects with direct materials (direct meaning that the materiales are related to production lines) and services such as mobile, travel and other mentioned in my current CV. I’ve been including all this variety of Purchasing categories to highlight my ability to handle different kind of projects.
In contact with national and international suppliers.
I spent 7 years in Procurement - Purchasing, within three multinational companies.
I bagan in Pernod Ricard Mexico as a trainee, then promoted in the same area. After that I was hired by IBM Mexico for a Project in Unilever, 90% of my time I was physically in Unilever, reporting to both Unilever and IBM (in two different cities of Mexico and Brazil). Then I was hired again by Pernod Ricard Mexico as a Chief of the area I previously worked for.
The industries were Wines & Spirits and Household & Personal Products…both FMCG.
My other sector experience is Sales & Marketing, for a Boutique Private Hospital in Los Cabos (high end touristic destination in Mexico) as a Sales & Marketing Director. I spent 4 years and a half physically in Los Cabos and I’ve been 1 year working for the same Company from Vienna, with mostly the same responsibilities but with a different management and approach due to my location...the Hospital has no presence in Austria.
Being a Private Hospital, my main responsibility is to bring business to the Hospital.
Regarding sales, developing partnerships with:
-Top Luxury Hotels (deeply understating the need for both employees and guests),
-Local and National companies such as tour operators, restaurants, payroll, golf courses, retail, construction, residential communities, transportation, car rentals, Marinas for luxury yachts, etc.
-International companies such as the largest Cruise-lines: Holland, Carnival, Princess, Disney, among others.
-Domestic and International Insurance Companies.
-Independent Physicians.
-Medical Toursim
Regarding Marketing:
-Development of a multi-platform (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google, own Website) digital marketing strategy, curating all messages and content, continuously analysing the KPI’s, focused on both feeding the sales funnel and brand awareness.
-Customer Service strategy, offering not only top medical care but service (aligned to the destination, Hotels, guest and executives expectations). Even implementing a Concierge service.
-Reinvigorating the company’s brand and image and physical image, improving some areas.
Of course I’ve been involved in the development of the services, new specialties, technology acquisitions, prices, contracts, and for about a year I took some Human Resources responsibilities such as recruiting and internal communication.
Due to my deep involvement with the Hotels industry and Human Resources Executives, I participated in the Human Resources Association (around 80 members), becoming a key player and subsequently appointed Treasurer of it.
ABOUT MY EDUCATION:
-I have a BA degree in International Business
-I have attended several trainings, seminars at recognized Universities such as ITESM in Mexico, Harvard in USA and with the Top Leader in Negotiation training Karras.
