Description
Experience Level: Expert
I am a teacher in England. I would like some research into Ethiopian cuture, history and religion which I will turn into teaching resources. This is for geography and Religious Studies lessons for pupils aged 11- 14.
This is a specific list of what I would like:
- physical geography of Ethiopia (maximum 1 page of A4)
- History of how Christianity came to Ethiopia (maximum 2 pages of A4)
- interesting information about Ethiopian Christianity, such as main festivals and particular cultural traditions (maximum 2 pages of A4)
- the Ethiopian diaspora in the UK, to be able to compare to Ethiopian culture back home. To compare Christianity in diaspora and Ethiopian communities. (maximum 2 pages of A4)
This is a project to introduce pupils to rich thinking about people, places, beliefs and culture. Please look out for interesting people to focus on, starting with a person or group of people is a good way in for pupils.
As you can see the total amount of pages of A4 required is 7. This is an approximate number, but to give a general idea of the amount of information required. I can be flexible.
Copying and pasting is fine as long as the sources are referenced. I wil be re-purposing the words anyway to turn into teaching materials.
