Is £80 the most you are willing to pay for the project? For a 62,000 word project, and with the requirement of an expert job in a three day turnaround, that is an extremely unrealistic fixed price. If you Google proofreading prices, then you will get a better idea on the costs of proofreading.

In what way is £1.30 per thousand words an expert rate of pay? And to ask for a three-day turnaround for that rate is just ludicrous. If this is a holding figure you should say so in your project outline, if not you should make your budget far more realistic.
