I'm requiring a proofreader for a book that is around 59,000 words.
Please note: I do not want the book edited; I just want proofreading to find spelling, grammar, and other small mistakes.
The book is an erotic romance. I left the budget as PPH recommended, but I realise others charge more or less. So send me your proposal with how much you want, even if it's over the budget stated, and I will look at the proposal.
When you respond to the proposal, please answer all questions; otherwise, I won't read it, as it proves you didn't read the project fully. Again, this is to proofread, not edit.

An expert proofreader could not answer your first question blindly, ie without seeing the manuscript. It would be entire guesswork, which defeats the nature of asking the question! Could you upload the manuscript to your project brief, please!
