Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
Num. of words: 140,000
Industry: Legal
Topic: Photography
Tone: Enthusiastic
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: My book, With Photography, is semi-autobiographical using mainly my own photographs and will be self-published as a labour of love in February next year. Where I have invited others to contribute photographs in the book I have email confirmation from them all that permission is given, I have acknowledged, credited and so on throughout. I believe I have been very thorough (where there is no credit the photograph is either taken by me or belongs to my archive) The book has been proof read by a number of individuals with various skills, however not by a professional who has an understanding of what may be regarded as a contentious or challenging issue in publishing. I am an Associate of The Royal Photographic Society and ran my own company for 17 years. While writing With Photography I have been careful to not invoke that kind of uninvited criticism but am looking for a professional with the appropriate level of proven UK legal knowledge who I could employ to do the final read through. Thus also satisfying an insurance requirement. Preferably the book would be read on screen, a pdf with all the photographs would be supplied, alternatives can be and will be considered. The first pdf attached is the introduction, the second is a small sample to show the style of the book. I am limited in file size for the upload.
I am doing my own final proof read now which I am expecting to finish in 3 or 4 weeks time when I would like the proof read to start. The book will be printed in February 2014. Thank you.
