Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
We are looking for a Freelance Editor to join our existing team of freelancers to accommodate the expansion of a publication we produce that communicates the impact of research projects from universities around the world to a wider audience: www.impact.pub
You must have an excellent eye for detail, strong communication skills to work as a key part of our team and preferably a background in science/research editorial work. It is not essential that this work is within a peer reviewed environment.
Work would involve writing, sub-editing, proof reading, copy editing etc.
We estimate 12-15 hours per week, dependent on workflow. Flexibility is required, working times and hours are not fixed each day (many of our existing freelancers are work at home mums) however you should be available to work 3 hours every day.
Editing experience is essential, experience in the academic or research field is preferred.
Please supply an overview of experience, background and your availability.
Immediate start.
