The work:
- Re-write so kids can understand (target is age 6-9 but aiming at younger kids if parents can read for them)
- and so kids can enjoy (make it more interesting to read)
- Reduce the amount of text by as much as possible (be brutal)
- Suggest structural changes and new facts if known

Background:
Eco Warrior is a system which teaches and encourages children to become environmentally conscious and also help around the home.
An illustrated booklet covers 25 housework tasks that protect the environment and teaches your child how to do them and why they are important. The text in the booklet needs serious editing (written by a non-native language speaker).

1. Shop for groceries

Remind your parents to take shopping bags before popping to the shops!
Reduce food packaging when shopping by buying loose fruit and veg
Congratulations!
You’ve reduced the amount of plastic being released to the planet, and often pollute our oceans

2. Help your parents cook from scratch
How to?
Ask your parents to teach you to cook and make snacks from fresh food
Specifically try to cook meals that have less beef in them, swapping all or some portion of minced beef with lentils or beans
Congratulations!
Cooking from scratch reduces food packaging which pollute our planet
Beef is a meet that requires many resources before it’s ready to be cooked. Reducing it saves these resources, and reduce pollution.

3. Re-use your water glasses
How to?
After you finish your drink, put your glass somewhere you will remember.
Another way is to ask your parents to give you a coaster, and put your empty water glass on it so everyone knows it’s yours.
When it’s time to drink another glass, use the same glass.
Congratulations!
You have reduced the amount of glasses that needs to be washed
Thus saved water, and if using the dishwasher, electricity and the use of chemicals too
