1. Party B must be a native English speaker, have outstanding English writing talent, have been engaged in writing-related work for more than 5 years, and have published books or multiple articles. Party B has more than 5 years of proofreading/editing experience. Party B must be from one of the four countries of the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia.
2. This is the last inspection before publication. Please focus on grammar, spelling and appropriateness of sentences. The original text of these comics was published in the 1920s-1950s. Some expressions are too old, so people have been arranged to rewrite them. However, the rewriting process may have problems that do not need to be rewritten (should not be rare). If you find that the text logic is not clear during the review process, you can ask for the original text for reference. The target customers of the book are non-native learners, so please pay attention to the difficulty control when revising. If Party B rewrites the sentence or adds a sentence, if a copyright is formed, the copyright belongs to Party A.
3. Modification method: After discovering the problem, please create an entry in a word document and record it in the order of appearance. The format is: page, paragraph code (four digits), content modification instructions.
Example: page 41, 0274, I‘m not alarmed. → Don't be alarmed. (This is a logical incomprehension caused by excessive modification)
4. Party B appears on the copyright page or cover in the name of proofreading. Party A should notify Party B by email after publishing this book.
5. This contract pdf will take effect after being signed and sent to both parties' email addresses.
