We would like an article written that combines how a company was formed right up to the sale of it – so in the form of a magazine article please. I have provided a brief summary of the story;
• James had a system beforehand that was producing proposals for other industries
• James was seeking a new accountant and went to visit Paul at MAP
• They had a great meeting and Paul had an impressive pricing structure
• When James received the proposal, Becky (James' wife) and his brother said it was too expensive
• James realised that the delay between the exciting meeting and receiving the proposal was causing Paul to miss out on business
• James realised he could help Paul out as he had a system that he could put his pricing structure into
• And that was the birth of GoProposal
Attached is an extract from James Ashfords book Selling to Serve, from page 53 to 60 this explains how Go Proposal was formed so some of the content from this could be reworded to tell the story of how it formed. Would like it to be an upbeat article please. I have also attached an article about the acquisition of Go Proposal by Sage to provide some content that could be used/reworded.
This is going to be a present for the 2 owners James Ashford and Paul Barnes and will be framed as a gift.
