Description
Experience Level: Entry
Hello, we own a pretty successful YouTube channel, and we are looking for a new creative writer to help create unsolved cases scripts. It would be beneficial if the person has experience doing this type of work, but it is not essential. It would also be good if the person has an interest in these types of videos.
Our channel currently produces top 5/top 10 videos, but we are hoping to start creating videos on individual cases, in order to create more detailed content. We use a voice-over artist from Canada to narrate the videos on the channel and need a new (preferably American) writer to help produce more creative scripts.
The selected person will be given a topic/case (for example 'Elisa Lam') and they will need to research the case (using multiple sources) and write a script adding a set up/ information about the person, facts around the unsolved case, and include theories and updates ect.. they must also fact check everything and make sure all information is accurate. Good grammar is a must!
Of course, the scripts also need to be plagiarism free and this will be checked.
In order for the videos to not sound robotic, the scripts will need to be in a more broadcast style rather than print style. The writer will also need to be fluent in American English, as our viewers are predominantly from the USA.
Please only apply for this job if you understand all the above.
We are willing to pay $100 per script on an ongoing basis. Most of the scripts will be around 2000 – 2500 words 10+ minutes long. Please attach any examples of similar writing work (if you have it) and in the proposal please explain why you would be a good fit for this role and feel free to ask any questions.
I look forward to hearing from you. Please start the proposal with the word check so we know you have read all of this.
Thanks

Same question, is your budget flexible? It is very low for 2000 words and you are a pretty successful YouTube Channel.
Sam M.03 Nov 2019$100 would be the max right now
