Extra notes: I have a corporate style Executive Summary (which is normally pitched to senior stakeholders). The document is about a software program which can be purchased and installed. The program is designed so a person can store notes/metadata securely, instead of them keeping notes in notepad/excel/word etc. The executive summary includes all the info about the product however we need to make a simple web page text from it. ie. take the Executive Summary doc which is 1 and a half pages long and summarise it into 300 words for a website page. Nice and easy, while maintaining the point/branding etc.
Sample of text:
"Executive Summary
The Problem
In the digital era each person has to manage securely tens or hundreds of websites addresses, different user names, passwords, emails, bank accounts & credit cards details etc. Some people use Excel, some memorize and others may have purchase a dedicated software to help them manage that information.
The same challenge is faced by organizations but just on a much larger scale.
Organizations have to manage thousands of pieces of information securely and centrally and make sure that only relevant personal will have access to it. Unfortunately, most organizations don’t have any dedicated methods or software to store “Configuration Items” or “Environment metadata” such as user names, encryption files and other important and critical configurations. Employees are improvising storage methods by storing the information using non-centralized and non-secured applications such as Excel, Notepad, Email, WIKI pages & memorize information. There is hardly any control of who is exposed to that information, who changed it, previous values etc.
The current approach introduces massive risks: Operationally, the organization is not in control over one of its most valuable assets, which is forming a huge business continuity risk. Furthermore, from security perspective it forms a high risk of industrial espionage as information can leak much easier out of the organization and provide a huge data protection breach and enormous reputational risk.
