Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Kind of writing: Brochure/Flyer
Topic: Direct Mail Service
Tone: Other
Outline & Structure: I would like to create a tri-fold brochure for my company and would like you to write the content for the brochure.
Background: The United States Postal Service has a program called Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM). The program is the most affordable way to directly mail to consumers. However, businesses find navigating the program to be laborious because they not only need to design and print mailers to the correct specifications, but they have to organize the mailings by postal route with proper paperwork for each and deliver them separately to individual post offices. This process, for most small business owners, makes the program not worth it.
My company can design, print, and mail these pieces on behalf of the business for as low as 29 cents per piece (plus one time setup/design fee).
I would like to create a tri-fold brochure to promote the benefits of the EDDM program to businesses in hopes that more businesses will utilize this service from us.
Here are some websites for reference:
EDDM official site: https://www.usps.com/business/every-door-direct-mail.htm
These companies do what we do:
ttp://www.everydoordirectmail.com/
https://eddmuspostal.com/
It is important to understand that most business owners will likely never have heard of EDDM. So the tone of the brochure should be informative while clearly defining benefits of the program.
We will design the brochure but feel free to specify callouts and headings as part of your writing. Bullet points for features/highlights of the program are good. It doesn't have to be verbose...people don't like to read. We just need to do a good sales job.
