Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Looking for a copywriter to write short but creative overviews on individual European Football clubs for football related e-commerce business.
Initially for the French Ligue 1 clubs but many other European leagues will need to be added thereafter.
A bit of background:
Appleberry is a Year One start-up which sells beautiful, high-quality, hand-made football scarves. Launched last year as an “England only” proposition, we have had a lot of interest from other countries and other sports and are now adding other leagues.
Our site address is www.appleberry.co.uk
We are doing this in our spare time and to date we have written everything ourselves using basic internet research - an example of the style of writing we are looking for is below:
******
AC Ajaccio
Nickname: L'ours
Ground: Stade Francois Cot
Capacity: 12,000
Founded: 1910
AC Ajaccio is based in the city of Ajaccio on the Mediterranean island of Corsica. They began playing in 1909 and started life playing on a sand dump! Their great rivals are fellow Corsican side Bastia
ACA went professional in 1965 adopted a polar bear symbol as the club badge; this has since been dropped in favour of a more stylised logo based on the Corsican flag – we suspect there aren’t that many polar bears on Corsica?
******
We need about 75-100 words on each of the following French clubs:
EA Guingamp
Girondins de Bordeaux
Lorient
Monaco
Nantes
OGC Nice
Olympique de Marseille
Paris Saint-Germain
Reims
Saint-Etienne
Sochaux-Montbeliard
Stade Rennais FC
Valenciennes
