Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for someone to write questions to teach / revise KS2-3 science, working remotely.
Our company creates online educational Manga-style games for the 10-16 year-old market. During the games, students are asked a series of questions on subjects they’re supposed to be revising. If they answer correctly, it gets them closer to a goal that’s interesting to them, such as thwarting an international conspiracy, or buying up the world.
Playing a Sim City-like game, they might want to buy a skyscraper … but before they can buy it, they have to answer: ‘What is the pH of a strong acid?’
Teachers who use the site can upload their own questions, but we want there to be a substantial resource bank of pre-loaded questions.
Each curricular subject (French, Biology, Maths, etc...) is divided into 30-40 question-and-answer sets, and each set contains about 30 questions.
We have, or will soon have, coverage of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, but these sets are aimed more at GCSE level. We would like to have science sets available specifically for Key Stages 2 and 3 – that is, the upper end of primary school, and secondary school as far as age 14. We would like a total of 40 such sets.
For further details, and for what information to include in your bid, please see the attached word document.
