Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Kind of writing: Commercial
Num. of words: 4-5k
Industry: Technology
Topic: CRM
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: 10 pages of content required relating to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM offering. Each page's topic will cover a different aspect of the MS CRM offering. Pages will range from 350 to 500 words each.
Each topic is well covered by Microsoft themselves as well as other CRM providers. I will point you in the direction of where to take your source content. There will be one page for 'why us?' which I will brief you on more specifically.
The purpose of these pages is to explain to a business reader what the topic is about and how it could benefit them in their world. Written in nice and easy bite-sized chunks/paragraphs that break down the main points without getting techy. The tone should be 'business' but SNAPPY and without the usual robotic phrases like 'end to end' and 'automated solution' etc. I also have a personal dislike for generic/meaningless filler phrases... e.g. 'there are many ways in which you can benefit...' or 'this technology is used in a broad range of industries'... etc. Each sentence should offer something useful - I'd rather have less words and snappier writing.
I dont mind if you haven't written for technology clients before, but would like to see examples of your business writing style. The most important task here is to soak up the sources I send you and then summarise the core business messages/features/benefits for each topic. i.e. what the business owner cares about, not the technical detail. The subject, CRM, is pretty easy to understand as it's a software used by everyday people, not some complex system for techies.
