Description
Experience Level: Entry
Num. of articles: 1
Words per article: 150-250
Blog/website url: findenglishlessons.com
Information for the blog/website: New directory of English language schools and teachers, with attached blog
Industry: Education
Topic: Learning English as a second or foreign language
Tone: Instructional/Educational
Outline & Structure: This is a test article for an ongoing series of blog entries/articles. Please do not bid unless you are willing to commit to up to 20 (twenty) 150-250 word similar articles per month at the same price. The article needs to be an honest review from the position of a user of the site. It needs to cover content, navigation of the site, overall impressions of appearance and cost, if any. You may have to register on some sites to gain access to review them. You will not be required to pay any fees. If you prefer I will provide an email address and details for the purpose of registration so you will not be bothered by follow up emails.
You will have to score the site out of 10.
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: I have a new directory site aimed at connecting students of English with teachers and language schools. As part of the service I wish to provide I need an ongoing series of blog entries/articles reviewing 3rd party sites involved in the provision on-site lessons and exercises for students of English as a foreign or second language.
These reviews will not include the websites involved in the provision of online (Skype) lessons as these schools and teachers are included in the main directory.
I also need a 2nd series of blog entries/articles reviewing sites providing teaching resources for teachers of English as a foreign or second language. The reviews need to be honest and clear, outlining positive and negative aspects of any individual site.
The style of writing will depend on whether the target audience is teacher or student. For a teacher it should be informative and professional, for a student the writer needs to take into account that their English won't be of native speaker standard so complex grammar and difficult vocabulary needs to be avoided.
I do not want sales type reviews - tell the readers what they need to know. Initially I will provide the urls of the sites but writers can also write on sites they are aware of.
This will suit ESL teachers or former teachers as they have a background in the materials and the requirements of teachers and students. I am looking at needing 10 of each type per month on an ongoing basis. If necessary I will split the work between 2 writers.
To reiterate - this is a test article for ongoing work, please do not bid unless you are prepared to commit to the work at the price you suggest
