On-going blog writing for product design consultancy

We are a technology consultancy based in the UK and we are looking for one or more regular contributors to our blog. We are looking for contributors with experience in the below areas who can suggest topics to us and then once approved, research and write them up as SEO friendly articles. The areas we are interested in are:

• Wearable technology and IoT
• Medical devices and med tech
• Sustainability and the role of sustainable design in business (particularly opinion pieces and promoting sustainable design), Carbon, Plastic, Energy and Policy.

We will ask you to suggest topics to write about which are within your area of expertise or sometimes we may ask you to speak to one of our team to interview them on a particular topic, case study or press release. We also have a large backlog of (over 100) blog post titles to dip into. We will provide guidelines in terms of the SEO requirements for the articles. Each one should be either 500 or 1000 words, priced accordingly. The articles should be well researched by you, original and focus on sharing insights, design processes, environmental issues, scientific research or relevant new technology. We will also ask you to source a related stock image which we will pay for.

When applying, please provide us with your background and some examples of writing in this field. Freelancers who suggest an initial blog post topic as part of their proposal and those with specific and relevant design/technical backgrounds will be preferred. Please also provide a cost and lead time per 500 words. We are ideally looking for 2-5 posts per month but are quite flexible.
