Hi Matthew,
I hope you're well.
I can see you've had this question already but would the job be possible for someone with an in-depth knowledge of horse racing who could accurately research the areas they're located in?
Ireland being such a leader in horse racing anyway, I'd suspect anyone with an interest in horse racing would at least have a basic knowledge of the courses.
All the best,

Hi Matthew,
Same question as someone else has asked, is being (or living in) Irish a deal breaker? I've good knowledge of the country but not Irish or lived there.
Regards,
CraigMatthew B.09 Jun 2016See response below - if it comes down to irish local or horse racing knowledge, we'll go with the latter. Feel free to message me with samples if you want to discuss.

Is Irish a deal breaker as I have strong knowledge of horse racing and would love this job.
Matthew B.09 Jun 2016Preference would be given to a local writer, but a knowledge of racing is more important if we had to choose.
