I would like a blog post written on the environmental impact of packaging materials

I would like a blog post written on the environmental impact and any potential health risks of the most commonly used packaging materials (approx 10 materials including aluminium cans, aluminium foil, tin, the most common plastics inc cling film, cardboard, paper, packaging tape, glass etc). The blog should look at each material and discuss:

1. The environmental impact of production (including where it is produced and impact of transport if this is not typically the UK)
2. Whether the material can be recycled in the UK and if so, the environmental impact of this process
3. How long it takes to break down in landfill
4. How safe the material is for every day human use (e.g. microwaving in, food storage etc)
5. Anything else worth noting with regards to potential health or environmental impact

The blog should conclude with a list of the most environmentally friendly packaging and tips on how we can reduce our impact on the environment with regards to packaging (e.g. using reusable bags, using reusable jars and cutlery when getting a take away food).

The blog will be for a vegan website, therefore it should also make note of any packaging that could contain animal products.

The blog post should also include references from reliable and respected sources (e.g. scholarly articles/books).
