Inviting all engaging copywriters with an understanding of content strategy - can you Kick Ass at copywriting for our business blog?
I'm the marketing director at ManufacturingNetwork.com where we are building traffic and general search engine ranking for a unique supplier search engine for the UK Manufacturing Industry. We are quite niche, but that's good news!
Our blog is focused on practical sales & Marketing advice for the non-career-professional marketer. i.e. they've got responsibility for marketing their small business, but it doesn't necessarily mean they know what they're doing, or have the time to figure it out. So we provide actionable guides, open up their eyes to the possibilities and do the occasional piece of thought leadership / provocation - but all related back to the context of UK SME Contract / sub-Contract manufacturers.
We aim to publish 1 awesome article every week.
Our articles have typically been 750-4500 words - the guides can be light on words, but they do require annotated screenshots using something like "Skitch" by Evernote.
We have got a content "heat map" looking at areas we've covered in the blog so far, and to what depth we've covered them, but realistically we'd like to build a little bit more of a robust content plan.
We have built long term partnerships with a number of fantastic collaborators through using people per hour, so we look forward to exploring this opportunity with someone who's up to the task!
