Description
Experience Level: Expert
Professional Health Science Writing and Editing Services – Childhood Obesity and Nutrition Manuscript
Please Note: This is not a job for a generic ghost-writer. With your bid, please provide links/examples of your previous writing, ideally in this or related areas (e.g. health sciences).
I am looking for a professional writer/sub-editor to work on a training manual that we have for a childhood obesity training programme that is in urgent need of modernisation.
In summary, we are looking for a professional and knowledgeable writer to:
1. Re-work the structure of the existing manual so that it looks and feels somewhat different from the original document – we want staff and learners alike to feel like they are in a new manual/course
2. Update the older references with more current data to support the key facts (as required) throughout the entire text
3. Increase the focus and coverage throughout of things like online gaming, social media and other sedentary pastimes engaged in by children, illustrating the decline in sport, exercise and physical activity (as required) – this manual was written before this really started to impact the health of children/adolescents
4. Throughout the manual, highlight as appropriate any differences in trends, habits, practices, risks etc between children and adolescents, thereby making the data/evidence more contextual to the different demographics
5. Provide practical examples of how key content can be applied in the real world.

Hi Lee,
Please could you describe who the manual is aimed at (i.e. are they health professionals?) and how long it is (roughly how many words). How long do you estimate the job will take?
Many thanks
