We have 2200 jpg files of which have been named numerically; 1,2,3,4... and so on.
We have another copy of these files as EPS with the original file names.
We would like these original names to be copied and written on the jpeg files.
e.g. File name = "1.jpg" changed to "Fire Extinguisher.jpg"
It is worth noting that the original names are written like this "Fire001-Extinguisher" & "Fire002-Extinguisher 2".
The middle numbers would need be removed e.g. Fire002-Extinguisher 2 becomes Fire Extinguisher 2.

Can I clarify if all the EPS files numbers (e.g. the 001 in "Fire001-Extinguisher.eps") map directly the to jpeg file numbers (e.g. the 1 in "1.jpg") so that for example a file titled "Fire020-Extinguisher.eps" would map to the jpeg "20.jpg"?
