Freelance Reviewer Wanted – Trade Business Start-Up Guides

Trade Skills Hub Academy (TSHA) is looking for freelancers to read and provide short, honest reviews of our practical business start-up guides for tradespeople and people considering starting their own small business.

The reviews will be published on the Trade Skills Hub Academy website to help potential readers understand what each guide contains and whether it may be useful to them.

The Work

You will be provided with a digital copy of one of our business start-up guides. Most guides are approximately 25,000–40,000 words, with an average length of around 30,000 words. You will receive the full digital guide and should read enough of it to provide a fair and informed review.

You will be asked to:

* Read enough of the guide to properly understand its content, structure and intended audience.
* Write a short, original review of approximately **100–150 words.
* Comment on areas such as:

* How useful and practical the information is.
* Whether the guide is easy to understand.
* The range of topics covered.
* Whether it would help someone considering starting that type of business.
* Any particularly useful sections or features.
* Give your genuine opinion of the guides

Important

We are not looking for artificially positive reviews.

Reviews should be fair, independent and honest. If you believe something could be improved, you are welcome to say so constructively.

The review must be based on actually reading the supplied guide and must not simply repeat the book description or marketing material.

Who We Are Looking For

You do not necessarily need to be a professional book reviewer.

We would particularly welcome applications from people with experience in:

* Running a small business.
* Self-employment.
* The construction or trade sectors.
* Business start-ups.
* Training, education or apprenticeships.
* Reviewing business or instructional publications.

Good written English and the ability to express an opinion clearly and concisely are essential.

Payment

This will be a fixed-price payment per completed review.

There are several TSHA business start-up guides available, so suitable freelancers may be offered additional titles.

A complimentary digital copy of each guide being reviewed will be supplied.
