Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I run an independent international magazine about education. Looking for an experienced editor to line edit four or five articles: an editor's letter, a school feature, a teacher portrait, a sports essay.
The pieces are drafted. I want them tightened and reshaped, with anything that reads as filler cut. Some are built from interviews, so the voice of the person has to survive the edit.
Native British English, working journalist or magazine editor, with a real ear for long-form prose. House rules: no em dashes, no Oxford comma, British spelling. I can tell AI writing immediately and will not accept it.
Send your rate and two short samples of your work. I will pick one editor after a short trial edit and continue with them for the rest.
