Blog writing/article writing

I run a surveying company and I want to try and increase my ranking on google. I am thinking of creating a blog, I can add to this weekly myself with properties I go to and maybe write a bit about the area. Although, I am hoping to work with someone to create a blog post or article per week as well, can be anything about surveying, housing, areas we have worked in that week etc. (some input with ideas would be good). I am also hoping once I get the blog going to maybe collab with local businesses in areas I carry out surveys and then try and get these articles in local papers or sites etc. to build brand awareness.
Is this something you could help with? I see you offer an hourly of £30 maybe one of these a week or something? What do you think? Thanks
