Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Blog/website url: http://www.londonspeechworkshop.com/blog/
Information for the blog/website: London Speech Workshop (LSW) is a dynamic company leading the way in delivering high level communication training which combines psychology and performance
Topic: Training consultancy
Tone: Informal/Casual
Outline & Structure: London Speech Workshop are looking for talented writers to contribute to regular blog postings for us. We would like to find around three bloggers who get our style and approach to communication.
We will pay between £25 and £40 per blog post depending on length, quality and experience.
In order to see if you will be a fit for us, we would like you to send a sample of one of your blogs you have written and also write a test blog for us on one of the topics below. If we use it we will pay you, and this will lead to regular work.
Topics:
1. Communication in the news - either a brilliant communicator or a weak one in politics, or anything in the public eye. Discussing that person’s communication and the impact they had because of their communication - that week.
2. Body language and the impact it can have on making a good impression
3. Tone of voice and the impact it can have on making a good impression
4. Smiling and the impact it can have on relationships and building rapport
5. A spotlight on an individual who is either a good or not good communicator and in the public eye
6. A spotlight on a great speech or orator (between now and the history of oration - i.e. can go back to Roman times) and look at what they achieved through great communication and how
7. Wedding speeches, and what makes a great one and what to avoid
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: London Speech Workshop (LSW) is a dynamic company leading the way in delivering high level communication training which combines psychology and performance. We have a team of six teachers who deliver our unique methodology and they work with MP’s, Lords, ex-prime ministers and business execs and professionals helping them be great communicators. We have a big expansion planned over the next few months, doubling our business and increasing our number of teachers, so it will be an amazing time to come on board as a blog writer.
