Description
Experience Level: Entry
Num. of articles: 4
Words per article: 200-300
Blog/website url: https://www.traveltourismguild.com/
Information for the blog/website: We are a business networking organisation for professionals in the Travel & Tourism industry
Industry: Business
Topic: Travel & Tourism
Tone: Other
Outline & Structure: We are a business networking organisation for professionals in the travel and tourism industry.
We would like to start posting short, interesting articles regularly on our blog to a) help drive traffic to our website and to b) provide added value to our members.
Some research will be required - we expect the articles to hit on/highlight current topics within the travel & tourism industry. Links to interesting 3rd party information/articles are permitted, so long as they are topical and accompanied by a couple of descriptive paragraphs giving a summary and perspective.
The tone of the articles should be generally formal - but not too stiff and boring. Travel industry people are the most fun after all! We are open to the writer stamping some of their personality onto the articles and the odd bit of humour where appropriate.
For examples of some of the posts we have done already, visit our website.
We expect each short article to take no more than an hour to produce - hence, we are offering just over minimum wage (£8) per article.
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: If we find a writer who is enthusiastic and creates good, interesting content, we would certainly stick with them and offer this Job every month (4 articles per month).
Furthermore, we aim to increase the volume and scope of content we produce as time goes on, so it is highly likely that we will offer more work in future and perhaps even a more official role with our organisation.

It is understandable that you may not be familiar with the writing process, but writing is not a minimum wage, hourly job, it is a skilled profession. For this reason, the industry standard for 500 words is $25. $35+ if it is a specialised topic such as medical articles.
