I think I'm missing something here, 1000 words for 14 pounds? That is 1 pence per word, doesn't even come close to entry-level rates? This isn't even in the ballpark for entry-level rates. 2.3 pounds an hour for 6 hours is less than minimum wage. I can't speak for the UK but in the US that is illegal, forget insulting to quality writers.
