Description
Experience Level: Entry
Num. of articles: 1
Words per article: Edit
Blog/website url: http://www.sctp.org.uk/
Information for the blog/website: careers + training site
Industry: Education
Topic: Apprenticeships
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: We have had some feedback that the language and abbreviatons used in the Apprenticeship guide needs simplifying for the reader
Please keep the article structure the same - changes made to the highlighted areas as pointed out below in 'Extra notes'
Please research relevant quotes and create additional paragraph where necessary to replace the dated.
Extensive research needed: yes
Extra notes: Changes needed for the website --
On page 4 the stats you quote for starts are well out of date now and there are figures for 2015/16. You also quote David Cameron as PM which dates things a bit!
On page 6 The heading ‘new from 2015’ dates the text and also the reference to on-going assessment could be misleading as this is being phased out of the new standards that must include end point assessment.
On page 7 – quotes from 2015 again.
On page 8 – references to the SFA will soon need to change to the ESFA (announced last week).
Throughout the document there is little mention of training providers/colleges and the important role they play in organising apprenticeships. I would suggest including something that explains this.

Hi Tom, we worked together before. It looks like this message is for someone in specific. Can anyone quote on this?
-
Is this aimed at someone in particular?

This is a very low budget for a job that involves research, editing and some new writing, especially as sellers lose around a fifth of your price in fees.
