Experience Level: Entry
seeking an experienced Journalist or Television Presenter with a strong background in broadcast media to observe live academic interviews and provide structured feedback to junior presenters. This role requires sharp editorial instincts, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor with clarity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Observe live remote academic interviews led by junior presenters, held monthly at 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM GMT.
Evaluate performance using a pre-established rubric (criteria includes tone, clarity, pace, professionalism, and engagement).
Deliver concise, constructive feedback after each session—written and/or verbal.
Identify development areas and make actionable suggestions to support improvement.
Maintain impartiality and professionalism at all times
Complete a spreadsheet weekly
Requirements:
Proven experience in journalism or TV presentation (minimum 5 years).
Strong editorial judgment and live interview experience.
Confidence in giving critical yet supportive feedback.
Ability to observe quietly without interrupting live broadcasts.
Reliable internet and availability to observe at the specified times monthly.
Preferred:
Background in academic, cultural, or educational media.
Previous mentoring or training experience in media settings.
